Deut. 8:14-16- “The Lord your
God who led you through that terrible wilderness…that He might
humble you and test you to do good to you in the end.”
Exod. 23:20-30- “I send an
Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you
into the place which I have prepared." "I will be an enemy To
your enemies. Little by little, I will drive them out, and you
will inherit the land.” (Your enemies will humble and test you.)
Judges 3:4-5- The children of
Israel dwelt among their enemies that
God might test Israel by them to know whether they
would obey the commands of the Lord.

Acts 26:18- “that
they may receive an inheritance among those who are sanctified
by faith in Me.” (so the path to our inheritance is called
sanctification).
James 1:2-3- “Count it all joy when you fall
into various trials, knowing
that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let
patience have its perfect work”
Rom. 5:3-4- We also glory in tribulation,
knowing that tribulation produces perseverance, and
perseverance, character, and character, hope (for your
inheritance), and hope does not disappoint.
1 Peter 5:10- “After you have suffered for a
